Our Exciting Opportunity
We are now looking for a skilled human rights lawyer with outstanding knowledge of corporate responsibility who can further strengthen Ericsson's approach to human rights, including conducting ongoing due diligence and specific human right impact assessments.
In this role you will contribute to Ericsson's strong history of respecting human rights across the value chain and work across business and market areas to guide, develop and align company efforts. The position is part of the Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility area at the Ericsson Group.

What we do
Ericsson is a pioneer in the private-sector when it comes to addressing human rights risks, environmental and climate issues, as well as boosting socio-economic development and supporting humanitarian relief. We were among the first companies to join the UN Global Compact, and an early adopter of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.

You will
Develop and drive the execution of the company's human rights strategy
Contribute with human rights expertise in due diligence processes and risk management
Conduct specific human rights impact assessments and drive implementation of results
Be the focal point for human rights in merger and acquisition projects
Review and develop steering documents to ensure human rights responsibilities are addressed and as well as ensure the reporting is high quality and in line with relevant frameworks


To be successful in the role we believe you have
LLM or corresponding degree in law, specialized in human rights
Minimum 5 years of proven business and human rights experience working at, or with, multinational companies
Demonstrated knowledge of the telecom or ICT sector
Knowledge of International Humanitarian Law and how it applies to private actors is an asset
Excellent networking and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, coordinate and partner across functions and all levels within a cross-functional organization, as well as with external stakeholders
Knowledge of due diligence in mergers and acquisitions
High integrity
Proficient in English
