As Category Manager, you will be provided with a great variety of tasks. Your main mission will be to define, coordinate and implement sourcing strategies for selected categories. You will also be responsible for supplier selection, implement ABB standards and manage the continuous improvement for our sourcing process (CIPS). Other parts of your responsibilities will involve:
• International Supplier Relationship Management
• Conducting (E)RFX; price negotiations, supplier selection and cost saving activities
• Initiating and improving excellence and supplier performance, best practice and best cost country sourcing

First and foremost, you need great negotiation, communication and coaching skills as well as the ability to coach and motivate team members in a complex environment. Your positive mindset, result-focus and cross-cultural effectiveness are equally important.

The unit consists of breakers, capacitors, instrument transformers, surge arresters and cooling systems. We develop and test new products in our high power laboratory, and operate in Swedish and global markets.
