The HR department at Volvo GTO in Köping consists of 9 people in different functions such as, HR Business Partner, Competence Management. We are proud to provide support to management and supervisors in personnel matters at individual, group and organizational level. Our efforts to ensure an efficient and value-adding delivery of HR to the organization has been recognized in the Volvo globally and we have been the benchmark for other sites.
Tasks
We are currently seeking a Human Resources Director to a wide and varied role. As HR Manager you will get the opportunity to work both operational and strategic within Volvo Powertrain.
As an HR Director your main duties will be to both strategicly develop and operational work with the services of the HR function. You will be a part of the management team in Köping and report directly to the plant manager. The role also includes:
• Being responsible to drive, implement and secure the HR strategies, processes and KPIs within Köping
• Driving change management by using our Volvo Production System (VPS)
• Taking an active role and responsibility in Köping management team and GTO Powertrain Production HR network
• Coaching & mentoring management in HR related issues
• Support to improve the important engagement and participation from all employees in order to define and implement needed improvements
• Communicate HR strategic information to the organization and secure an honest cross-functional dialogue
You hold a Master or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources & Administration, Business Administration, Psychology, or other equivalent area along with several years of experience from a qualified HR's role in an organization with well-developed HR processes, ideally from an international industrial company. Your experience includes labor issues, negotiations, organisational changes etc. Your have several years of prior management experience and a good understanding of the business context and challenges as well as extensive knowledge and understanding of Applied HR. You are a team player used to build and maintain professional networks across different business functions. Fluency in English and Swedish is a must, written and spoken alike.
Your personal attributes are vital for success. You are a self-starter with good analytical skills. You are persistent, have good prioritization skills and enjoy problem and conflict resolution even when the tempo is high. With a sense of service and cooperation, you are a person who is easy to create and develop good relationships with your surroundings. You are structured and analytic and have the ability to thing strategically and axecute tactically.
