With a direct reporting line to the HR Manager Nordics, we want you who is an experienced HR BP who will be delivering best practice HR Business Partnering and business-focused HR solutions to meet the requirements of the business.
As our HR BP, your overall mission will be to develop, manage and coordinate a variety of human resource-related activities in the Nordics, aligned with standard and local policies, and act in liaison with managers in relation to organizational matters and employees.
The ideal candidate is interested in making a significant impact and excels in a fast paced, ever changing environment.
The Role:
• The HR BP provides a full range of HR business support to clients providing guidance, advice, assistance and coaching to
employees and managers on HR issues.
• Participate as an active strategic and tactical business partner to the Nordic sub-region. Partner with line management to
assess, model, and shape an organization culture that supports the achievement of business objectives.
• Identify training needs for business units, follow-up to ensure training objectives are met.
• Support the implementation of leadership development, people development, talent acquisition, diversity, and the
performance management and review processes.
• Support talent identification and development of top talent.
• Update HR policies under direction of HR Manager. Ensure policies are up to date and in compliance as required.
Experience:
• Minimum of 7 years of experience working as HR BP, a few years in a Nordic position.
• Demonstrated knowledge of HR policies, procedures and Nordic employment legislation.
• Demonstrated strategic ability and strong knowledge of progressive HR best practices and approaches.
• Prior experience in a global, matrixed organization.
• Cross-cultural awareness, general knowledge of international business and a high degree of cultural awareness and
sensitivity.
• 1-3 years of payroll experience.
• Knowledge of expatriates is an advantage.
Skills & Abilities:
• A proactive approach; ability to accomplish goals in a collaborative manner.
• Ability to communicate effectively across different levels in the organization.
• A well-structured and logical approach to the job, analytical skills and a highly organized, process-focused attitude.
• Polished and professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of various HRIS.
• High level of one Scandinavian language, written and spoken. Finnish is an advantage.
• High level of English language, written and spoken.
Education:
• Bachelor's Degree in HR/PA.
