Business Need / Purpose of Role:
The Head of Transformation Programs is primarily responsible for designing and managing global programs that enhance and digitalise our service portfolio as well as ensuring successful business adoption of the broader digital portfolio. This role involves setting the strategy and direction for multiple programs, developing strategies to involve the Voice of Customer in the execution, and ensuring that the programme initiatives align with the company's overall objectives.

Accountable for:
Programme Leadership: Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of transformation programmes, including digital and service initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive business adoption strategies for each transformation initiative, ensuring stakeholder engagement and buy-in.
Change Management: Oversee change management processes to facilitate smooth transitions and minimize disruption to business operations.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior leadership, functional heads, and key stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for transformation initiatives.
Performance Monitoring: Establish metrics and KPIs to monitor progress, measure success, and identify areas for improvement.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure programme success.
Voice of Customer: Develop and execute method to gather VoC to the programs to validate the potential outcomes.


Objectives & Measurement
Key Responsibilities and Specific Accountabilities:
Operational
• Manage Region Connect program to business as usual by end of 2025
• Establish and deliver a 'new' service portfolio which recognizes revenue by 2026
• Increase NPS score for NEXT portfolio and service delivery across Weir Minerals

People
• Work closely with Strategy Office and key program owners for service transformation to ensure completion of service transformation program
• Work with Minerals Digital leaders to ensure Region Connect work is complete and transitions to BAU
• Key point of contact for regional stakeholders to interact with Transformation Programmes to ensure adoption
• Ensure delivery of regular senior leadership updates on the programmes
Safety and Environment
• Champion Safety Culture: Foster a safety-first culture, ensuring compliance with all safety requirements, including Zero Harm.
• Ensure Safety Compliance: Lead the adherence to safety regulations and standard operating procedures.
• Risk Management: Assist in risk assessment analysis and implement actions to mitigate risks.
• Integrate Safety in Improvement Activities: Ensure all continuous improvement activities are aligned with safe working practices.
Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications
• Master's degree in business, international relations, languages subject matter;
• 3 to 5 years experience in minerals processing industry working with digital and IoT customer facing solutions;
Experience in leading large-scale transformation initiatives i.e servitisation of digital solutions, integration and onboarding of new technology, innovation management;
Prior experience developing and following internal and external change management processes;
Proven track record of successfully delivering programs on time and within budget;
In-depth knowledge of project management and change management frameworks i.e ProSci, Agile;
Excellent leadership and team management skills;
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
Ability to effectively communicate and engage with stakeholders at all levels;
Familiarity with industry trends and best practices in servitisation, transformation and innovation.
