We are now searching for our next key player in the pursuit of Safety as a product property - our next Head of Systems Safety at EPX.

The Team
You will be leading a group of highly experienced and motivated Safety Architects, working daily with supporting and developing the entire organization by

• Independent reviews of e.g. Safety plans and FMEAs
• Supporting the organization in HARA work
• Safety-related field quality (FQ) tasks & investigations
• Participation in approval decisions for SW-releases
• Contributing to the development of safe architectural solutions in TEESA

Your Role & the Team
As manager for EPXS, you are responsible for the group deliverables by supporting, developing, coaching, and encouraging the team daily. You and the team are responsible for pointing out the path forward in the strive for safety as a product property in the TRATON platform - today and the future. The team is transforming towards providing clear safety patterns and quantified vehicle safety principles for the TRATON group, hence shifting focus from reviewing to safety architecture. You and your team monitor and probe the major industry trends as well as the group-driven requirements coming from the other brands within the Traton group.

The EPX management group
You will in your role as Head of Systems Safety play an important part as a member of the EPX management group, supporting the section manager and the other group managers in strategic as well as operational tasks. You will be joining an experienced management team with broad & deep responsibilities, spanning functional architecture, hardware, cyber security and safety.

Your profile
You have a university degree in the field of embedded technology and also experience in safety and systems development. You are highly motivated and find it easy to cooperate. You can promote new ideas and you take responsibility. You know how to make complex problems understandable through speech and presentations. High integrity and transparency are key traits to succeed in this role. You are fluent in both written and spoken Swedish and English.
