Excellent, as we are now looking for creative, energetic, out of the box leaders to join our newest product development unit. We are embracing a start-up mentality to deliver our product with better customer experience and increased organizational efficiency.
PDU Exilis is a new organization that will be leading the acceleration and creation of a cloud-native Radio Access Network (RAN) product offering with commercial engagements starting during 2020. The new PDU will contain in one organization total life-cycle capability from architecture definition to deployment in customer networks & capability to contribute to open source communities in ONAP.
To set ourselves up for greatness we will count on our leaders to truly embody BNEWs three C's, Customer Focus, Collaboration and Can-do, to drive the realization of the Exilis portfolio.
In this role you will report to Head of PDU Exilis and be part of the Leadership team.
Job Responsibilities:
You will lead a team responsible for the Exilis project office and overall system architecture leadership, ensuring we as a company succeed in delivering a cloud native RAN offering to our customers, including:
establishing the end-to-end flow, way of working, program execution, solution release, and maintenance strategies for Exilis
driving the overall system architecture strategy, working closely with systems leads in each of the other functional units, with DNEW as a whole, and with other relevant groups within Ericsson
running the overall site strategy in line with the DNEW site strategy, including ensuring the overall competence, resources strategy, leadership
ensuring that plans for customer commitments, either in terms of product releases or trials, are in place and that risks are identified and handled
supporting product line in customer engagements and bringing forward innovative solutions to the customer that are in line with the capabilities of the organization
coordinating the analysis and planning for new requirements or solutions that are driven from customers, product line, other functional units within Exilis, DNEW, and other Ericsson units
ensuring that standards relevant to Exilis are being driven in the manner that aligns with the product direction, in collaboration with NSV & S&T
ensuring that Ericsson communicates its technology leadership for cloud native internally and externally, in collaboration with NSV & S&T
ensuring that Ericsson establishes IPR in the area of cloud native RAN, in collaboration with NSV & S&T
handling any other program related elements (e.g., frames, forecasting)
The above is expected to be led virtually throughout the Exilis program to allow PDGs or Functional Groups to drive their specific domains, encouraging collaboration.
You will work closely towards our market areas and customer units as well as Ericsson's lead customers as it relates to this domain.
