hela Sverige The Strategy & Business Development team at BSH Home Appliances AB plays a crucial part in taking the lead regarding strategic management within the region Northern Europe. The team is invaluable when it comes to putting continuous improvement on the agenda, involving all functions in the organization.
We are now looking for you to join the team as;
Head of Strategy & Business Development
The goal of this position is to lead a value generating Strategy and Business Development Department.
The committed team supports the whole region in bringing abstract strategies into the day-to-day business across all functions and levels. Each associate has a specific area of expertise, and also applies his/her general tool-box of project management skills to projects addressing different kinds of challenges within sales, digitalization, and continuous improvements to name a few. The team's responsibilities are divided into four different areas: Strategy & Innovation, In-house Consulting/ PMO, Business Intelligence and sales support.
In this position, you lead a team of thirteen associates, whereof six reports to a team leader. You report to the CEO.
YOUR TASKS
• Strategy & Innovation
• Design and drive the NE-Strategy Process incl. review and continuous improvements
• Support the cascading done along the hierarchies
• Support the organization to drive innovation and consumer centricity by providing agile tools and methods and conduct sprint workshops
• Project Management
• Enable the NE-organization regarding Project-, Process- and Change Management
• Ensure a professional, up to date and running Project Management Office
• Lead single strategic projects
• Project tracking of strategic and medium sized projects
• Design and improve business processes
• Business Intelligence
• Provide business and market intelligence
• Define & implement sales steering concepts and principles
• Moderate Senior Management meetings and conduct workshops
YOUR PROFILE
• University Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, preferred with a postgraduate degree in General Management
• Minimum 7 years in different leadership or management consulting positions
• Large-scale project management know-how
• Intense international work experience
Your conceptual thinking allows your practical mindset and your collaborative working style to be the basis for sustainable implementation of your work. You are used to, and thrive in, working on an international scale, with cross-functional and cross-cultural projects and teams. Therefore, you are fluent in English, and it is an advantage if you are proficient in a Nordic language.
You have a strong intrinsic motivation and the ability to infect associates with it. You contribute with industry expertise, being a listener and advisor, with strong conceptual and strategic competence and strong will to implement concepts. The willingness for lifelong learning and continuous improvement is in your DNA. You take pride in your communication skills across geographical as well as organizational borders, and you easily adopt a holistic view. Also, you are a generous team player, who derives energy from learning from others as well as sharing your own knowledge in order to achieve what is best for the company.
