Are you a passionate leader who has a genuine interest in people and building successful and accomplished sales teams? Are you ready to take on the challenges of developing and entering emerging markets with new technology? Then we might be looking for you!
We are at the beginning of our journey and are looking for someone who will take the lead on our commercial operations and drive our sales and marketing departments to success. Your main focus in this role will be to drive revenue and create growth opportunities for Addressya in our operating markets in East Africa and South Africa.
In this role you will be leading, developing, and growing an international team of sales and marketing officers, be part of the company's management group and report directly to the CEO.
We also believe that you enjoy sensitising and educating clients and stakeholders about new technology; SaaS solutions, addressing, APIs etc.
Tasks and responsibilities:
• Execute sales towards an annual sales budget
• Drive our sales and marketing departments in EA and RSA
• Lead, manage, and hold the team accountable
• Daily operations and sales activities in collaboration with HQ and the sales teams
• Report sales progress to top management, team performance and strategy feedback
• Create brand and partnership opportunities for Addressya through consultative selling with corporate businesses, NGOs:s and government agencies
• Development of long-term partnerships and analysis of business value over time
• Own, follow up and develop the Addressya sales process
• Ownership of all sales materials such as demos, value proposals, pitch decks and marketing material
• Set a strategy for inbound lead generation and work actively with Social media to create brand awareness
Skills and requirements:
• Leadership skills, proven track record of leading a sales team to success and achieving KPIs and targets
• Expert in sales tactics and sales strategy
• Analytical and problem solving approach to challenges
• Exceptional communications skills
• Lateral thinking and the ability to translate market input into future strategy
• High level technical understanding to be able to translate product specifications into customer value
• Extensive experience in business development
• Exceptional negotiation skills
• Growth and revenue driven

What we offer
This is a full time position with a permanent contract where the first 6 months are a probation period. The salary is partly fixed and partially based on performance and paid out in commission according to our company policy.
Successful applicants are either based in Sweden or in Africa. This position involves extensive travelling mainly between Sweden and our operating markets and most likely to other countries in the future.
