We're looking for a Head of Retail to join our & Other Stories head office in Stockholm! As Head of Retail, you are the owner of the physical store sales channel and responsible to drive both strategic development, and daily operations to maximize our customer experience and deliver profitable growth. You will lead retail operations through the direct management of visual and store operations, and close collaboration with the global omni-sales functions. In addition, you will support the regions and area teams to achieve their customer-centric retail strategies through your functional experience and leadership. The role also includes for you to drive business innovation and business development in our retail channel and touchpoints, as well as optimizing and managing the retail channel both from a brand and a commercial perspective to ensure and enable outstanding growth and profitability short and long term.
Key responsibilities:
Drive the implementation and execution of the retail customer experience from start to end, from big leaps changes to daily operations.
Hunt for and act on new opportunities to grow customers, sales and profit.
Be a strong, value-driven leader that inspires, develops and challenges your team to achieve excellent results.
Support areas to achieve their customer-centric goals and strategies.
Use your operational knowledge to identify and act upon gaps and opportunities.
Lead effectively in change to help build our future Retail experience.
Qualifications
To be successful in the role as Head of Retail, we believe that you are strong in your communication, stakeholder & change management and that you have strong strategic abilities and can see the bigger picture. You are confident in and have the ability to make quick decisions with the customer in focus, while setting the right priorities for the business, yourself and leading others into doing so. You can convey global strategies, understand the relevance in a local context and you have the analytical ability and experience from solving complex problems. You also have extremely good planning and organisational skills, for you to be able to orient and prioritise in a complex set up. In addition, you view feedback as a source of information and are humble in the light of success.
What you need to succeed:
Extensive leadership experience with the ability to adjust your leadership to a very complex leadership role.
Experience in managing and leading people and teams across regions and different geographies.
Driving transformation and leading in change.
Clearly demonstrates a customer-first mindset.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the application of Store Operations best practices and in the application of Visual Merchandising best practices.

This is a fulltime permanent position based at our Head Office in Stockholm, starting as soon as possible.
