Your tasks are described as follows:
• Management of Development Team (leading, coaching, evaluation, recruitment correction when needed)
• Definition of the general strategy of Nordex Project Development in Sweden and Finland
• Development of Partnerships with local project developers as well as negotiation of contracts
• Coordination (in cooperation with the Project Developers) of site identification, feasibility studies, environmental studies, local acceptance and land lease agreements
• Budget management for employees, studies, met masts, etc. including the sourcing grid connection and pre-construction work in cooperation with Project Management
• Financial evaluation of projects in coordination with the financial specialist
• Identify show stopper as early as possible
• Priority setting with regards to the project pipeline in Sweden and Finland
• Sales support of developed projects in coordination with the Sales Department
• Transmission of ready to be built project to the Project Management Department
• Cooperate with the Project Development network within Nordex sharing of best practice with other Project Development teams
Within your function as Head of Project Development you will be the interface between the Swedish Project Development organization and the Head of Project Development in Hamburg. You will report directly to the Country Manager of the company.
You should hold a University degree and have several years of management background combined with applied working experience within Project Development in Sweden, including the successful development of full built projects.
Beyond that you will have the following experience and skills:
• Strong communication
• High integrity and motivation
• Fluent in Swedish, both written and spoken
• Excellent knowledge of both written and spoken English, knowledge of German language is an advantage
• Ready to work in a dynamic and fast developing atmosphere
• Understanding of intercultural communication
• Proactive and result oriented approach with strategic and analytical skills
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Willingness to travel on a regular basis
