As Head of Process coordination & projects, you will assure the global view and the consistency of logistic processes in GTO EMEA logistics and you will lead logistics projects impacting several logistic functions of GTO EMEA CVA Logistics. You will report to the VP Logistic EMEA Cab & Vehicle Assembly, Group Trucks Operations.
Mission
To coordinate all initiatives on process development to assure a full consistency between all logistics sub processes, as well as support EMEA plants and support functions.
To lead logistic projects in order to reach GTO EMEA objectives.
Main activities and responsibilities
• Coordinate logistics processes and systems development within EMEA
• Manage the interface with GTO QEKD process and systems
• Manage the interface with Process & systems organizations ( GTO , EMEA )
• Manage interface with Supply Chain strategy
• Manage the strategic process for EMEA CVA Logistics
• Manage logistic projects portfolio of GTO EMEA Logistics
• Lead logistics projects impacting several logistics function
• Consolidate GTO EMEA Logistics KPIs dashboard
• Contribute to EMEA Cab & Vehicle Assembly operations continuous improvement, in cooperation with the relevant units within GTO and GTT.
• Initiate and manage restructuring and improvement projects
• Drive and challenge the EMEA Logistic process managers, and develop motivation, knowledge and team work in entire organization.
• Champion the culture aimed at giving a strong image of the unit and being in line with AB Volvo values and principles (The Volvo Way, Code of Conduct, etc).
• Continually inspire, develop and motivate the EMEA Logistics process managers, through participating in web-casts, town-hall meetings, leadership programs etc.
• Act in close co-operation with other AB Volvo units globally to efficiently develop and deliver services and products with the right Quality, Delivery time and Cost within agreed .
• Participate in meetings and also in Councils, Committees and Networks upon request of the VP Logistics EMEA Cabs & Vehicles Assembly.
Critical competencies for the position
With a real talent for cultural integration, and business analyses the Head of process coordination & support holds a University/Masters Degree or equivalent, and is able to demonstrate successful international and multi-cultural business experience.
You need to have extensive experience of line management within a production environment and process management.
In a group that values quality, safety, environment, diversity and respect for the individual, the Head of process coordination & support is above all an effective leader. The position holder understands the complete chain of the logistics business and is familiar with modern managing principles and techniques within a matrix organization. This includes good understanding of the commercial vehicle industry and business analyses, as well as a broad knowledge of global manufacturing.
