You will be a key person in the immensely exciting journey to ensure that Volvo Cars is making steady progress towards our bold targets by focusing on human-centric innovation. What you'll do
In this senior HR position you will coach and lead a skilled team consisting of 25 colleagues. You will secure that the team is lead with empowerment and trust while having the business understanding needed to make a difference. You will secure appropriate skills and competences and you will evolve team members during an agile transformation and drive for simplification.
As Head of People Experience you will build trusted relationships with leaders and employees. You will take part in the development of the whole Global People Experience function and partner with the business to develop the leadership team as well as the business in the area of people, organisation, culture and leadership to establish trust and confidence with both management and employees.
Your key task will be to drive processes of change towards an agile way of working and you will be responsible for development, implementation and budgeting of HR strategies in management teams.
Moreover you will execute global organization-wide programs and initiatives such as workforce planning, employee engagement, retention, organizational change, performance management, search for top talent and leadership development.
Last but not least you will work as a trusted strategic advisor to the executive leadership team by developing strong, proactive and collaborative working relationships.
Do you fit the profile?
We are looking for a curios leader who has a genuine interest in HR and people. In order to succeed in this role you need to have very strong collaborative and leadership skills and the ability to handle ambiguity and manage change.
To be prosperous in this role you need to bring significant experience from the broader field of HR and you need to have distinctive leadership skills. You have the ability to work in a fast paced environment on both strategical and tactical levels and you have strong business acumen.
Furthermore we believe you have strong analytical and decision making skills as well as awesome verbal and written communication skills.
As a person you are communicative and can easily adapt to changes. You have high integrity, courage and great energy.
