hela Sverige The Human Resources function in Nordic and Eastern Europe area (NEU) is responsible for ensuring a flawless execution of the Human Resources processes and the Head of HR in NEU plays a key role in supporting the delivery of the operational and strategic people agenda in the area. The role reports to the NEU area CEO located in Gothenburg, Sweden and is part of the NEU area leadership team.
The position as Head of Human Resource is currently located in Aarhus, Denmark but could also be located in Gothenburg, Sweden.

This role is a great opportunity for a strong Human Resources professional to play a central role supporting Damco's Nordic and Eastern Europe organization and accelerate his/hers HR career in a dynamic, fast paced work environment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build up a broad network in the organization with Executives and senior leaders in the business as well as within the Human Resources function in the European region and Global organization. The role has high exposure and visibility and offers the opportunity to contribute to the strategic agenda as well as gaining experience in daily high impact operational decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support and drive operational delivery of monthly and annual HR processes and activities, e.g. Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Compensation management, Strategic Workforce planning, Learning & Development and Employee Engagement Survey in close collaboration with senior executives and HR colleagues;
• Plan and facilitate the Nordic and Eastern Europe Talent Management process e.g. Talent Review, Succession Planning and Development Plans;
• Drive HR projects as per strategic and tactical agenda linking the global and local organization;
• Act as sparring partner for leaders at all levels within functional area of responsibility translating the people strategy into impactful initiatives;
• Prepare and implement the yearly activity calendar for the HR operational delivery and facilitate follow-up.
• Day-to-day handling of critical people issues and the go-to HR person in Denmark.
• Manage a HR team located in Sweden and Russia.
Who are we looking for?
In addition to a relevant background (Master?s Degree in relevant field or similar university level) and 6+ years of HR Management working experience, the right candidate is:
• Result oriented with a strong sense of drive and initiative.
• Able to engage at strategic, tactical and operational level and have a pragmatic, hands-on attitude in execution.
• Flexible and able to handle shifting priorities.
• Showing excellent interpersonal communication skills with ability to handle discretion and confidentiality at work and personal level.
• A team player with a coaching and consultative approach.
• Fluent in English.
