hela Sverige SSE is one of Europe's leading business schools with both top-ranked degree and executive education programs and outstanding faculty who produce world-class research.
SSE's mission, dating to 1909, is: "The objective of the Stockholm School of Economics is to, through scientific teaching and research, promote the advancement of business in our country".
The SSE vision is to firmly establish itself as a member of the top tier of European business schools and to be recognized as a global benchmark for industry collaboration and for thought-leadership in selected knowledge fields.
Over the more than 100 years since it was founded, SSE has grown to occupy a unique place in Sweden and Swedish business. SSE uniquely embodies the concept of working locally and globally simultaneously, as an international business school located in Sweden. SSE remains small in size compared to similar business schools around the world, with research excellence being its hallmark. That scope, size and track record positions SSE to be a member of the top tier of European business schools.
