You will be part of the business unit Radar Solutions management team and report to Head of Radar Solutions.
Engineering have design responsibility for all levels of subsystems for our radar portfolio, and for antenna and microwave subsystems to all radar and electronic warfare products for business area Surveillance, including support of all phases of delivery in the contracts. Engineering is responsible for deliver in time at agreed cost to our projects, as well as meeting our cost reduction targets for development and manufacturing.
Engineering has around 700 employees in Gothenburg.
Your role and profile
One major challenge for you is to develop the engineering organization together with your management team and staff to becoming an even more efficient and more software-oriented organization.
We believe that you are passionate about fulfilling new needs and delivering outcome to our business stakeholders as well as to our other business areas within Saab.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
What you will be a part of
Business Area Surveillance provides efficient solutions for safety and security, for surveillance and decision support, and for threat detection and protection. The portfolio covers airborne, ground-based and naval radar, electronic warfare, combat systems and command and control solutions.
Business Unit Radar Solutions is a business unit within Surveillance and has around 1300 employees globally with its headquarter in Gothenburg, Sweden with the largest international sites in USA and UAE. Radar Solutions provides airborne, ground-based and naval radar solutions to the world market.
