Charging and Infrastructure Solutions (C&IS)
C&IS is a function within Volvo Energy. We develop Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) / Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (FCEV) C&IS offering in conjunction with Business Areas and partners (for infrastructure OEM-agnostic). We work by lobbying and advocacy, legislation monitoring, partnerships and associations to create and accelerate industry standardization and roll-out.
We identify and extract public funding and subsidies across applicable markets and regions. We create new business offer opportunities as well as value propositions together with our Volvo Group colleagues and partners. We jointly simplify the electrification transformation for our customers and the society as well as accelerate the journey towards 100% fossil free and in doing so, we will support Volvo Group's sustainability.
We are the natural go-to expert function within the Volvo Group for BEV/FCEV C&IS.
So what are we looking for in this specific role?
We are now looking for Head of Charging and Infrastructure Service Solutions (C&ISS). Your starting point will be to build and lead an agile team of great individuals to Head the C&ISS Offer.
The C&ISS function will establish, build and drive the C&ISS Offering roadmap and portfolio. You will own the feature roadmap and secure both pilots and innovation as well as full-scale production ready applications. You will do this in close collaboration with customers, Volvo Group Colleagues and partnerships. You will drive, secure and initiate a lean governance within the Volvo Group to efficiently drive the C&ISS Offering portfolio. The service portfolio will among other contain, Route-planning, charge-point interface management systems, find-book-pay services and similar software related applications.
Other responsibilities will among others include:
The natural go-to expert function for charging and infrastructure service solutions in the Volvo Group.
Own, Lead and drive the roadmap for C&ISS offering within the Volvo Group.
Secure the industrialization and scale-up of C&ISS according to decided roadmap and requirement.
Identify, develop and drive C&ISS according to decided roadmap and requirements.
Manage Project Management within the area of C&ISS.
Identify and manage relevant partnerships.

Qualifications likely required to be successful
Significant experience from Service development and industrialization.
Experience from charging systems and infrastructure is considered a merit.
Experience from Digital & IT and/or business deployment of Digital & IT solutions.
Excellent in establishing internal as well as external long-term partnerships.
Excellent knowledge in building frameworks (process, methods, strategies, plans) and leveraging intrapreneurial skills in large, cross-functional organizations.
University degree in electrical engineering, industrial engineering, Digital & IT, business administration or equivalent.
Fluent in English, written and spoken.
