The team
Our diverse and dynamic team consist of data scientists, and we collect and analyse data from over 600,000 connected vehicles. We are on a mission to create self-improvement and real-time data solutions, pushing the boundaries of modern data science.
We deploy our data insights capabilities (everything from data visualization to fully scaled out MLOps) in the cloud (AWS, Snowflake, Gitlab etc.) with a fleshed out DEVOps- and MLOps pattern. These capabilities are utilized for data driven decisions internally when developing, delivering, and discontinuing customer services, as well as externally in our digital customer services giving them the edge to stay competitive in the digital landscape of transportation.

We are seeking a visionary leader to attract, recruit, develop, and retain top-tier data scientist talent. Your mission is to encourage the growth of Analytics in our organization, ensuring that the data science process, DEVOps for data products, and MLOps are clear and effectively utilized.
By enabling our Value Creation Teams (VCT: s), stakeholders and customers you will empower them to make data-driven decision by developing data products ranging from descriptive to predictive, giving us and our customers the edge to stay competitive in the digital landscape of transportation.
Key Responsibility:
• Strategic Vision and Mission: Be the visionary who defines our mission and charts the course to success. You will wield strategies and deploy cutting-edge tools to make our Analytics dreams a reality. Create and develop a thriving Center of Excellence for Data Science & Analytics that drives innovation.
• Talent Management & Acquisition: As the talent guru, you will build a dream team of Data Scientists. Attract, develop, and retain top talent, cherish their skills to propel us into the future. Ensure our talent pool overflows with top-notch cloud computing Data Scientists.
• Process Excellence: Streamline data science processes, DEVOps, and MLOps like a maestro. Collaborate and define guidelines to ensure our teams operate at peak efficiency.
• Value-Driven Analytics: Be the driving force behind analytics solutions that are not just technically but also deliver measurable value, usability, and scalability.
• Communication and Alignment: Establish connections across Sales & Marketing and beyond. Break down silos, ensuring everyone speaks the language of data.
• Cultural Transformation: Lead the charge in cultivating a modern data culture across Services Portfolio & Delivery. Be the catalyst for data-driven decision-making across the organization.
• Technical Acumen: Dive into the tech trenches, understanding and occasionally reviewing production solutions in AWS, Snowflake, Python, SQL, Yaml and more.
Qualifications:
• Proven strong leadership as a manager or similar roles.
• Technical experience in the field of Data and Analytics.
• Ability to inspire and communicate in a straightforward way to make this complex area understandable for others.
• Ability to create, align and communicate strategies cross functional in large organisations.
• You love your work and want to make a difference!
• A relevant degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Cloud Computing, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related technical field.
