On behalf of one of our clients, an international company in the centre of Stockholm, we are currently looking for a head of accounting for a temporary assignment. The assignment, which is full-time, will start immediately and continue for 6-9 months.

Publiceringsdatum2011-11-10Dina arbetsuppgifterThe role is largely centred around maintaining the company's Danish accounting function with responsibilities such as:
• maintaining the general ledger and reconciling all balance sheet accounts
• maintaining the cashbook and preparing bank reconciliations
• forecasting of cash flow requirements, monthly cash flow reporting
• monthly VAT reporting
• monthly preparation of salary information, submitted to external payroll provider
• overseeing the accounts payable process
• processing expense claims
• preparing the quarterly audit kit for US parent
• maintaining the fixed asset register
• assisting in the year end reporting for statutory accounts/audit
• ad hoc tasks as required.
Furthermore, you will also be involved with parts of the company's Swedish and Finnish accounting functions.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
We want you to be very experienced in the field and have a general accounting background. You also know Swedish accounting/tax laws and regulations and preferably have experience from working on a Nordic level (knowledge of Danish and Finnish accounting/tax laws and regulations is not a requirement). Furthermore, you are fluent in both Swedish and English.
We see it as an advantage if you have previous experience working within a professional environment such as consulting or a law firm.
As a person you are motivated, proactive and efficient. You also have the ability to take an outside perspective on processes and suggest solutions/improvements.
