Join us in Ericsson Radio System Hardware Systemization!
Do you want to be part of setting the general architecture and systemization of new 5G hardware solutions? We are looking for a talented hardware system engineer to support us with developing 5G hardware product solutions. You preferably have some years of experience from working with hardware and/or system development. You will work as system developer in projects developing Ericsson Radio System hardware (ERS HW) products during early studies, execution and release as well as working with general requirements for ERS HW together with experienced colleagues.
You will:
You will have focus on the system solution and be part of identifying technical requirements and secure the 5G site solutions, that can include a full site of equipment from the different 5G Hardware areas Radio, Compute, Transport and Site products. You will work together with designers in product development projects and be responsible for securing that the released products and solutions meet the requirements and fulfills applicable interfaces. You will also work together with Product Management regarding both customer solutions, architecture and the general requirements.
You will perform technical investigations together with personnel from different system teams. Continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing are part of the daily work.
To be successful in the role you must have
Good understanding of hardware and software architecture
Several years experience in telecommunication system management and/or system integration
Developed competence in requirement handling and breaking down of requirements
Solid experience of HW system design
Strong technical interest
A can-do attitude, can-help, want-to-try
An innovating approach, be adaptable and responding to change
Good leadership skills
A good eye of identifying improvements and driving change
A master degree or above in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Telecommunication or equivalent
Proficient English skills for effective oral and written communication
