What makes Business Controlling at H&M so special? Perhaps it's that your job isn't done once you've finished your analysis. No one expects a detailed report or a fancy presentation. Instead, it's your ability to explain your ideas to your team, to make business-minded decisions and implement actions based on your analysis. No day is like the other and it's up to you to decide how to create sales growth and improve profitability, as you will be the only analyst in a team creating the best customer offer in a business area larger than many Swedish midcap companies. We will not be telling you exactly what to do, but some of your main responsibilities will probably be:
• Set long term strategies and short term goals together with your team. What sales goals do we want to reach and how? How can we improve our profitability?
• Follow-up on our goals and KPIs. Are we reaching our sales goals? What's our current stock situation? How are our different sales markets performing and why? What will be the price perception for our business area next season? What volumes should we plan with for our key products? How will current in-prices affect our profitability?
• Continuously analyze anything and everything related to your business area to take smart, business-minded actions together with your team. If you have 100'000 blue t-shirts worth 1 million euros, that you don't believe you can sell - what should you do?
• Have fun together with your team!

• Students or young professionals with a degree in business or engineering. Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn your analysis into actions that you can implement in your team.
• Driven and result oriented personalities, with a genuine interest in retail. Experience in sales, store or e-commerce is meritorious.
• An entrepreneurial mind-set, taking own initiatives, as we are a flat organization with a straight forward, open-minded culture and short decision paths.
• Team players with leadership skills wanting to grow as leaders within H&M.
• International experience from either work or studies. Your English is fluent - Swedish is not mandatory.
