Data Protection Representative to Volvo Group Trucks Operations
Volvo Group Trucks Operations is the organization responsible for truck manufacturing and logistics within the Volvo Group and we are shaping the future for our industry. Data is the new gold and working with data in a responsible and pragmatic way is crucial in developing all the exciting future ways of working we have lined up. As a natural consequence the area of Data Privacy is growing in importance in GTO.
The Data & Cyber Security Management team is part of the GTO CIO Office. The team you will be a part of has a global responsibility for governing and managing prioritized data within GTO. You will be part of setting our strategic data privacy priorities as well as driving and implementing ways of working, to guide and assure relevant data privacy compliance and regulations in the Volvo Group and GTO

In this position you will act as DPR for GTO
You will be the focal point for data privacy questions in our organization and have responsibility for the ongoing data privacy compliance activities.
The overall responsibilities for the role are:
Coordinate the implementation of Onetrust as our new tool.
Implement and maintain the Privacy Governance structure including policies, standards, and templates.
Drive investigations and initiatives as needed to facilitate, promote, and protect Volvo Group data privacy.
Coordinate and conduct Data Privacy audits.
Assist projects in assessing their Data Privacy impact
Ensure that GTO is informed regarding data protection rights, obligations and responsibilities.
Communication and alignment with GPO (Group Privacy Officer) and other Volvo Group DPRs.
Increase Data Privacy awareness and competence through development and conduct trainings.
Coordinate GTOs work with Data Subject Participation requests
You will coordinate, lead, and collaborate with all parts of GTO as well as the rest of Volvo Group, driving Data Privacy and compliance activities while inspiring others to do the same. This requires you to be service minded and supportive in communicating with stakeholders, partners, and customers. Understanding the GTO business is important to perform well in this role. We also value your holistic and problem-solving approach, as you will play a key role in the organization to identify and visualize pragmatic but robust solutions to new challenges. As this job includes managing urgent as well as long-term initiatives, we also believe it is important that you can work with a degree of uncertainty and that you demonstrate good prioritization skills.
Qualifications that we are looking for:
Understanding of automotive manufacturing and logistics processes.
Experience in Data Privacy, data transfers, vehicle data and IT systems in a complex global product development organization.
Knowledge of Data Privacy, GDPR regulation and other regulations affecting data protection and their practical applications.
Experience from information security principles and practices, information risk analysis and risk management.
Experience in developing and delivering trainings.
Practical experience in OneTrust or equivalent Data Privacy tools.
Fluency in English, written and spoken.
Most important is a passion to learn and to support our business with data in an efficient and compliant way.
