The department Order to Delivery (O2D) IT is responsible for supporting P&L with IT solution and services. We are now designing and implementing the future IT landscape for P&L to support this new world driven by digitalization, a global production system and the cooperation within the VW Truck & Bus group.
Project & Portfolio Management Office at O2D IT, is a crucial part to make this happen for P&L. Project and Portfolio Management Office is responsible for project management, facilitate portfolio management and integrated flow tests. The manager for Project & Portfolio Management Office is together with the management team at O2D IT a key driver in the strategic work. This is a great opportunity to get a broad understanding of IT within Production & Logistics and for the right candidate a steppingstone to more senior roles.
As facilitating portfolio management and integrated flow test are new tasks, building these functions will be one of the first assignment for you as group manager. As manager for the group you have 6 direct reporting project managers that work in various projects for Production & Logistics.
As group manager for Project & Portfolio Management Office you will report to the manager for O2D IT and be part of the O2D IT management team. As part of O2D IT management team we expect you to contribute with your knowledge and creativity to help us drive the department forward.
Your profile
Our successful candidate will be a servant leader enabling the team to succeed with their deliveries and will drive cross functional activities. Other important qualities for success in the role are high degree of IT knowledge, interest in agile working methods and knowledge in project management as well as basic financial knowledge. You also have an academic education within IT or engineering. It is an advantage if you have experience from portfolio management and test.
As a person, you combine a strategic mindset with a good sense for details. You will also need to have good communication skills and feel comfortable working closely with several parties within the business and you are curious to learn more about production & logistics - the business that we are supporting. Lastly, you need to be proficient in written and spoken Swedish and English.
