51730 Colour & Material Studio Engineering is a part of department 51700 Studio Engineering at Product Design. Main responsibilities for 51730 are to support Designers with technical expertise, document the C&M delivery from Design and secure that it is according to agreed quality. The role as Manager for 51730 is broad and includes managerial, operational and strategic work and responsibilities. The C&M Studio engineering team consists of 4 employees and one consultant.
As group manager for 51730, it is your responsibility to:
* Lead and develop the employees.
* Allocate resources within the area of responsibility.
* Secure competence and work processes within the area of responsibility.
* Plan, lead & document weekly line meetings for VP Colour & Material Design.
* Plan, lead & document strategic cross functional C&M meeting.
* Report to and be a part of 51700 management team.
* Actively seek and maintain contacts with consulting companies.
* Secure that the Colour & Material deliveries from Design are documented and meets agreed quality.
* Budget for 51730.
* Implement strategies, operational targets and plans for the group and its employees.
Qualifications:
* Demonstrated experience from Colour & Material development.
* Experience from Design work is meritorious but not a requirement.
* Ability to work operationally in programs.
* B.Sc or equivalent based on experience.
* Ability to build and maintain a well working network.
* Very good English skills both spoken and written.
* Very good leadership & communication skills.
