hela Sverige Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.Do you want to be in the driver's seat of Scania 's journey into Asia? And be involved in developing products for the Chinese market? Then this position is something for you!
To become one of the biggest and most profitable Truck manufacturers in Asia, Scania is increasing our presence in the Chinese markets through a new production plant as well as building local R&D capabilities.
Both the product and the R&D organisation are now in the start-up phase. If you enjoy being a first-mover in executing bold strategies you will enjoy the journey we have ahead of us!
The speed and the quality of our strategy execution will be the most important differentiator in the coming years ahead.
Your work assignments
As a manager, you will have complete system responsibility for some of the chassis systems, all the way from the design to performance and verification. You will build a team with the right competencies to help you succeed in your job, probably based on consultants in Sweden initially before building up a long-term sustainable organisation in China.
Your profile
You are comfortable working in an organisation under build-up, where not everything is in place, you like to take initiative and lead teams to fast and efficiently solve problems and deliver results. Since we are in a build-up phase you probably like to do some hands-on work yourself.
As a person, you are engaged, solution-oriented, and like a high pace. You have courage, take great responsibility and have a good ability to develop and maintain a wide network of contacts at all levels. We believe that you are used to working, and delivering on high expectations.
We are looking for a candidate with a master of science in engineering and with competence and experience from working with chassis systems as well as previous experience from leading others. You have the ability to zoom in on the details while still keeping the big picture in mind. You need to be fluent in English, written and spoken.
Does this job sound amazing to you but you don't think you meet all the requirements? We value your personality as number one. We give you the base for success independent of your previous experiences.
Your location
Work will be done from Södertälje and later options will be discussed to be on shorter or longer assignments in our new R&D office in China, based on interest and business needs.
