A Transport Mission is just as the name suggests, a mission sent to the autonomous vehicle to transport goods, which makes Mission Testing a fitting name for a team working with autonomous machine verification and validation at Volvo Autonomous Solutions! In the Verification and Validation Area, we believe in the importance and power of diversity within the group and strive to have people with different backgrounds, experiences, and personalities. As the Group Manager Mission Testing - Eskilstuna within Technology Area Verification and Validation, you will be tasked with leading a diverse and talented group of engineers who thrive in problem-solving, teamwork, and innovation. They are conducting advanced autonomous system testing in Eskilstuna and at customer sites and need a manager in place who is people-focused, organized, solution-oriented, collaborative, and leads by example. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Resource Planning
Work Environment Responsible
Test Facility Management
Planning and Securing facility Investments
Sync with Volvo Construction Equipment Testing Team, Product Owners and Verification Leaders
Sync and Collaborate with Gothenburg Transport Mission group
