EEVC is a local department within Vehicle Engineering Gothenburg, responsible for delivering Electrical and Connectivity solutions for the Volvo Truck Heavy Duty range. As the Group Manager for Vehicle Application in Gothenburg you will lead a newly established group. You will be empowered to form this team, from recruitment through delivery execution.
You will be an important member in the local EEVC Management Team and you will be reporting to the Chief Engineer for EEVC in Gothenburg.
Main responsibilities are:
Establish the group as the main interface between our platform delivery groups and our customers
Lead resources within the team responsible for System Ownership, Verification Coordination, and Manufacturing Interface of adaptations for the Volvo Truck Heavy Duty range
Lead team of Application Engineers for the Volvo Truck Heavy Duty range
Take product ownership for assigned products and in your daily work
Secure competence development strategy and coach team members on their personal development
Regular communication to the team on performance, strategies and operations
As a manager within EEVC Engineering you are expected to have a strong business mindset. You need to be an inspiring leader, be positive and interested in developing people as well as technology
The Electrical and Electronics area will continue to grow in importance in the commercial vehicle industry and in the Volvo Group. We are currently developing very exciting products and will continue to do so in the years to come as we are expanding our business into new segments.

Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master 's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Extensive knowledge of Heavy Duty vehicles with focus in the electrical and connectivity areas
Technical leadership experience
Structured, analytical and holistic mind-set
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
