Stena Line's Group Commercial is comprised of three key commercial streams; Freight, Travel and On-board Sales & Services (OSS). We are looking for an individual to take on the role as Group Head of OSS.
What will you do?
As Group Head of OSS you will be our voice of the customer and will lead the strategic development to ensure a customer centric approach within Service & Standards, Food & Beverage and Hotel. It will be your responsibility to create the strategies and concepts for the business regions to utilize and focus to maximise sales, deliver service excellence and create operational efficiency through a One Company approach. You will have the authority to set the direction for OSS and you will work closely with our Transformation Leads, business regions and functions to drive net profitability and a seamless customer experience across segments, markets and regions through attractive concepts and efficient and effective service and sales.
Some of your key responsibilities:
• Responsible for developing and coordinating the general OSS strategy, subject to GM approval, with close cooperation with regional management
• Optimize One Company standardization of concepts, products and services. Provide the functional 'templates' for regions to follow and execute
• Based on a set strategy, responsible for the development of onboard concepts (outlets and services)
• Drive OSS profitability in line with budget expectations through provision of attractive product ranges, promotional activity, marketing and point of sales
• Lead the OSS Commercial Forum and provide support to regions
• Responsible for fleet-wide onboard investment plans within commercial areas, and coordination of same with business regions and other internal stakeholders
• Responsible for the development of the Stena Line Design Book
• Establish an effective and collaborative relationship with all key stakeholders such as OSS regional management and Retail & Food Services, ensuring all aspects of service level agreements and OSS strategy are adhered to
• Maximize quality of products and services and ensure alignment between what is offered and what is delivered
• Ensure alignment between OSS activity and company strategy

The must-haves:
• Hospitality and service industry experience, preferably in a global organization
• Experience in creating concepts for Food & Beverage and hospitality
• Experience in establishing and developing excellent customer service
• Experience in creating strategies and processes that can be implemented across an organization
• Proven leadership skills with a focus on delivering results
• A commercial background, creating business value and revenue
• Fluent in English
