hela Sverige SSC Satellite Management Services is accepting applications for several employment opportunities as Ground Station and Satellite Controllers at our Mission Control Center and Esrange Satellite Station, located 45 km outside of Kiruna, Sweden.
As a satellite and ground station controller you will be a part of a team responsible for all operational functions such as satellite operations, station configuration, monitoring, performance analysis, and anomaly resolution and customer helpdesk. SSC is a 24/7 service provider. These assignments are a rotating shift positions with a start date no later than 1 September.
We expect you to have the following qualifications: an Electronics, Physics or Space Sciences Technical degree and/or operational experience in satellite and/or ground network operations. Other equivalent experience and qualifications may also be considered.
Qualified candidates should possess strong analytical and communication skills in order to provide a foundation for success in this position. In addition, applicants should be exceptionally self-motivated and work well in a highly regulated environment.
SSC is a globally diverse organization offering an international work environment which requires fluent English (written and spoken). A valid driver's license is also required.
