hela Sverige Greenpeace is the most recognised environmental NGO in the Nordic countries and most of that is due to our images: strong, narrative images that capture people’s minds and help change behaviour and attitudes in politicians, corporates and the public. Greenpeace Nordic is now seeking to strengthen its photo & video team with a temporary, part-time position.
Are you an experienced photographer and are you looking to channel your creative talents into making the world a better place? Greenpeace seeks a talented, dynamic, flexible and qualified professional photographer to join our Nordic team and help deliver the campaign programme through photography.
About the Role
In this role you will be on site photographer during Greenpeace actions and activities in the Nordic area as well as globally. You will be working on ships during our ship tours which will require you to spend extended periods away from home. You will work in close cooperation with our campaign and digital teams to produce imagery that captures people’s attention and conveys our campaign message. This position involves extensive travel and a high amount of work outside ordinary working hours is to be expected.
About you
You are an exceptional photographic talent and have several years documented experience of documentary photography in fast-paced environments. Previous experience working with Greenpeace and on ships in an international experience is a big advantage. You have several years experience shooting outdoors using natural light/fill flash is essential. You will thrive in a fast paced environment where multitasking and a positive "can do" attitude is a must. You are a quick thinker, a good team worker and able to create striking images straight from camera. You have developed knowledge of delivering editorially from the field. Additionally, you are familiar with Adobe Creative Suite and have high level experience of Photoshop and Lightroom.
We offer
• A part time, temporary position placed in Stockholm.
• Opportunity to travel and be part of Greenpeace actions.
• The opportunity to work and grow in a creative, determined and highly professional team.
