We are in search of a highly motivated and engaged Graphic Designer for our Packaging design and Artwork team at Business Area Food.
As Graphic Designer you will be part of a team responsible for the graphic design and creation of final artwork for packaging and labelling of the product range at IKEA Food, that is to say all our products in the Swedish Food Market including for example coffee, salmon, meatballs and more. Your responsibilities include producing, editing and updating printing originals for original packaging on time and with excellent quality.
In this position you will:
Design and create final artwork for packaging and labelling of the IKEA Food products.
Ensure, in co-operation with the Laws & Standards and Quality functions, that packaging complies with legal and other demands for all markets concerned.
Secure, in co-operation with the Laws & Standards and Quality functions, overall quality (linguistically, typographical and visually) of packaging to ensure clarity and comprehensibility.
Perform quality checking and approval of all packaging and printed matter.
Contribute to packaging design development by creating mock ups and visualization of the new products.
Update, support, document and archive all final artworks.
