The ideal candidates should have at least 2 years experience in the game and/or advertising industry working as an artist, and at least 1 year using Flash CS3 or above.
Job Responsibilities
Creating graphical assets for games using Flash, Photoshop, Maya and related tools
Creating animations for games using Flash, Maya and related tools
Working with concept in pre production
Creating time plans
Creating and maintaining production documentation
Working closely with the development, design, and QA to meet completion deadlines for each project
Specialized Knowledge/Expertise Requirements
Must have at least 2 years experience in the game and/or advertising industry as an artist
Must have at least 1 year experience with Flash CS3 (or above) and flash development
Must have experience creating assets for integration into flash applications
Prefered experience creating user friendly interfaces
Prefered experience in typography
Strong sense of design and ability to create concept art
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Professional Attributes
Must be responsible and accountable; able to self-manage, and effectively delegate when working with junior artists
Good communicator who possesses strong written and oral communication skills
Enthusiastic and outgoing, excited about working in independent game development
Responsible for meeting deadlines
Able to listen to and provide constructive criticism
Well-organized and detail-oriented
Strong team player
The candidate should have the ability to work in a small, informal atmosphere and be prepared to work onsite in our centrally located office in Gothenburg. Salary is negotiable based on experience.
