Are you ready to transform events into extraordinary experiences? We are currently seeking a Global Sales Venue Search Specialist (Maternity Leave cover) to join our vibrant team. The position is located at our Area Support Office in Stockholm, a maternity leave cover with start in February, duration approximately 1 year.

As a Global Sales Specialist, you inject a heightened sense of ambition, a focus on delivering results, and a genuine passion for engaging with customers into the fabric of our dynamic Sales Team. Your role is pivotal in crafting memorable experiences for our clients, and your dedication to excellence sets the stage for unparalleled success in our events sales endeavors.

Drive revenue attainment for meetings and events through effective sales strategies. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on corporate clients and event planners.

Build and sustain client relationships, understanding needs for tailored solutions. Act as the primary point of contact for event inquiries and coordination.

Collaborate with clients to plan meetings, conferences, and events, ensuring flawless execution. Liaise with hotel departments for seamless event experiences.

Prepare and negotiate contracts, aligning with hotel policies and legal requirements.

Stay current on market trends, adjusting sales strategies for a competitive edge.

Maintain accurate sales records, generate reports, and provide insights to leadership.

Ensure guest satisfaction by delivering top-notch service and promptly addressing concerns.

Assist in preparing and managing the department's budget, optimizing resource allocation.

Proven meetings and events sales experience, consistently achieving revenue targets. Strong client relationship management skills, adept at identifying and fulfilling client needs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including persuasive selling and negotiation abilities. Exceptional organizational and time management skills, handling multiple events simultaneously. Collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams and departments. Proficient in analyzing market data and trends to inform sales strategies. Familiarity with sales software and systems. Strong problem-solving skills, capable of addressing client concerns and issues. Understanding of meetings and events industry standards and practices.
