JOB DESCRIPTION
The Global Sales Engineers team is the center of our sales engineer’s network globally and constitute Axis knowledge base in system and application matters. Together with Business Development and Marketing we will drive Axis towards an application and solution oriented market approach.
As Global Sales Engineer your main tasks will involve: 
• Assist in project sales in cooperation with your local/regional Sales Engineers. 
• Build Application and system experience generally and share your knowledge with R&D, product managers, sales and globally through the Sales Engineers network
• Build and run the global Sales Engineers network for your region and together with your global colleagues.
• Take part in events and training here in Lund and in your region as an application expert.   
• Act proactively in the technical interface to our major global partners. 
• Act as a trouble shooter and coordinator to solve complex technical problems in major deals, sales projects and global customers’ on-going activities. 
• Together with Technical writers extend our technical documentation regarding systems and solutions  
The position requires some travel, up to 40 days/year.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
You have a technicalBachelor’s or Master’s degree or similar and more than 5 years experience within system engineering. We believe you have at least some years experience with customer relations and from the project sales lifecycle. You dare to address technical challenges and have documented experience in working with system solutions close to end customers.
Furthermore, we believe that you’re able to understand and integrate our cameras not only as technical component but also as part of a complex ecosystem/sales channel. You communicate fluently in English, both written and oral. If you have good knowledge in any other language, it will be considered a merit.
You are business oriented and have good understanding of project sales as well as a genuine interest in Cultural differences. Several years of experience, preferably from the IT industry, as knowledge in designing and optimizing IP Networks, is an advantage.
DEPARTMENT SYSTEM & SERVICES
System & Services is globally responsible for the service offering and technical solutions support. This includes product management for system functions and software, design and coordination responsibility for services and support offerings, project sales support and partner interface in technical and connected strategic matters. Global Sales Engineers is one out of five teams within this department
