Supply Chain Operations manufactures packaging material, packaging systems and distribution solutions for Tetra Pak Packaging Solutions. The Capital Equipment Supply Chain division (CE SCO) is responsible for the manufacture and supply of filling machines and distribution equipment from receipt of order until performance is achieved at the customer's site. CE SCO manages equipment suppliers, operates the Modena, Lund and Minneapolis manufacturing sites and is responsible for the overall result of the Global Capital Equipment business including the Installation Business.
Tetra Laval Group Transport & Travel
is looking for a
Global Purchasing Professional
Tetra Laval Group Transport & Travel is responsible for the coordination and purchasing of Tetra Laval global transport and travel volumes. We belong to Tetra Pak's Supplier Management organisation and today we handle 75% of the global transportation volumes. This close-knit group of 15 employees is now looking for an experienced purchaser.
The successful candidate must be prepared for a demanding job in a high-paced international environment. Your main responsibilities will be in managing freight related purchasing in a team with two experienced colleagues.
You will be involved in a large international network both within Tetra Laval and externally. You will have a clearly defined stakeholder responsibility, which you are expected to maintain and actively develop in a partnership spirit. Travel is a natural part of the role. You have experience from working in a large industrial or logistic company and you probably have a University degree within logistic.
As a person you must be able to work independently. You are structured, result oriented and have an analytical mindset. You must be service minded and always put the client in focus. You are positive and able to continuously develop contacts with your clients. You need to be a good listener and communicator. A very good command of Swedish and English, both written and verbal, is required.
