Global Product Manager, Urine Albumin & New Products
As a subsidiary of Quest Diagnostics one of the world's largest Diagnostics companies HemoCue has the objective to increase growth and further develop an already strong position within Point of Care Testing. HemoCue has an interesting portfolio of products within Diabetes attending to screening, diagnosing and monitoring of diabetes and complications from diabetes. Our products are sold in more than 100 countries around the world through subsidiaries, franchises and distributors.
We are looking for a Global Product Manager to manage our Urine Albumin testing business as well as managing our pipeline products in the diabetic area. As Global Product Manager you will have the full business responsibility for the products, including business planning, business results, global marketing activities, and product life cycle management.
For our pipeline products you are responsible for the market research creating the foundation for the business plan for new products within the diabetes area. During the development phase you are the lead contact between marketing and R&D and participate actively in the development projects. You are responsible for development & implementation of business plans for new products within the diabetic field. The key tasks include establishing market and customer requirements for the product, product positioning, documentation and sales promotion material and implementation of pre-launch and launch plan.
You will report to the Strategic Marketing Manager Diabetes and be based within the Global Marketing Department in Ängelholm Sweden, but liaise closely with HemoCue subsidiaries and distributors on a global basis.
The HemoCue Albumin systems can be used for the quantitative determination of low levels of albumin in urine for the purpose of screening for, diagnosing, monitoring and supporting the clinical evidence in the treatment of microalbuminuria.
Requirements
• Academic degree in relevant areas such as marketing/business administration or life science or preferably a combination of both
• Experience from international marketing, product management or similar position within the life science area o Understanding of the medical/healthcare market o Excellent oral and written communication skills o Excellent command of the English language
