Global Mobility Specialist

Corporate Human Resources supports local HR-departments who in turn supplies Scania with qualified and dedicated employees that can grow with the company. By creating framework and standards with a proactive and constructive approach Corporate Human Resources is working with a focus on business driven HR.

Executives Compensation & Benefits is one of the four defined areas that operate within Corporate HR. Executives Compensation & Benefits is divided into Executive Compensation, Compensation and Benefits and Global Assignments. As a Global Mobility specialist you will be working at Global Assignments and reporting to Rim Borén, Head of Global Assignments.

Job description
In this position, you will manage the global assignment process for a wide population of expatriates in line with Scania's global mobility policies. Along with internal and external partners you will ensure a smooth and efficient movement of personnel between the countries.

Your job is to calculate compensation and benefit packages for the expatriates, calculate cost projections, and write assignment contracts. In addition to this you hold information meetings with expatriates and advice the Business on issues related to compliance, taxation, social security, immigration, etc.

Further you will be responsible for the expatriate salary review and involved in other projects within Global Assignments to ensure continuous improvements of policies and processes.

Teamwork is very important for this job and you will work with other members of the team to ensure all workloads are covered. Besides, you will work together with other HR stakeholders and third party providers worldwide in managing the assignments. As such, the ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders involved in the assignment process is important.

Job requirements
We are looking for a confident individual who is able to establish and maintain business
relationships at varying levels of seniority. You have several years of relevant Global Mobility experience and a strong background within the global mobility industry with excellent understanding of expatriate compensation and taxation.

Good IT skills and proficiency using MS Word and Excel is essential. Excellent communication skills in English is required whilst knowledge in German and additional languages is an advantage.

In addition to solid work experience, you have a university degree in either HR, Law, Business, or equivalent.
