HVDC is seeking a Global Manager to be the driving force for our Life Cycle Information (LCI) team, inspiring and guiding them to achieve excellence. The LCI department primarily focuses on Asset Information Management within our global HVDC projects. The scope includes capturing of asset data throughout the entire project lifecycle and assuring traceability for our products.
As the Global Manager of the LCI team, you will cultivate a positive and engaging work culture, ensuring every team member feels valued and motivated. The members of the team bring different levels of seniority and are spread across Sweden, India, and UK. As a leader, you'll set clear expectations, objectives, and KPIs, providing continuous support through regular feedback and coaching. Moreover, you'll spearhead the development and implementation of standardized LCI processes, tools, and methodologies, enhancing efficiency, quality, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

How you'll make an impact
Manage all employee related activities such as recruitment, onboarding, creating opportunities for training & development, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
Build and coach the team to a positive work environment, while also ensuring a safe, secure, and compliant workplace.
Address escalated issues, troubleshoot challenges, and resolve conflicts within the team or with stakeholders.
Plan and evaluate actions to achieve goals and enforcing system, policy, procedure, and productivity standards.
Define objectives, establish strategic goals, and assess the outcome of actions taken.
Manage project budgets, time/cost estimations, resource allocation, and update the tender and project portfolio.
Oversee day-to-day project operation, track progress, identify mistakes and improvement areas in our processes.
Liaise with stakeholders and promote cross-functional collaboration and transparency.
Your background
Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Science, or another relevant field.
Experience as a people manager or other relevant leadership experience with personnel responsibility, ideally in a dynamic and global organization.
Experience working with LCI and/or similar area is a great advantage.
Structured, well-organized, and confident to take on the role as the leader of the team.
Strong communication, social, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees and management.
Fluent in English (both written and spoken) is required, Swedish is a plus.
