Your mission
This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of setting fundamental building blocks for the Global Online Experience and building a scalable business in an everchanging, disruptive industry. When our business grows, we are looking for an experienced Credit Risk Specialist for a role with a global scope. In this role, you will report to the Head of Credit Risk.

What you'll do
As a Global Credit Risk Specialist, you will analyze and manage our product portfolio from a credit risk perspective. You will make sure our policies are in line with the company risk appetite and find ways to optimize it, with the aim to improve our decision quality and automation, explore sales opportunities, improve customer experience, reduce lead times, among others.

You will proactively provide insights and recommendations to reach the above-mentioned goals and use statistical analysis tools to develop automated, real-time credit decisioning strategies. In addition, you will work with various stakeholders to suggest and implement improvements to the internal reporting system and KPIs, as well as work with our data engineering teams to help update and test new data variables added to our data lake.

The role includes working collaboratively with other colleagues in the team and from other teams. You will participate in projects and activities in line with the Credit Risk team's priorities, sometimes supporting and sometimes leading, to achieve shared goals, using a variety of analysis and problem-solving techniques. You will also conduct projects within the Credit Risk area such as launching new markets/products, piloting new solutions or new data sources, improving processes, and maintaining relationships with credit bureaus and other third-party suppliers.

Who are you?
We believe that you are a curious team player, who enjoys learning how the business works. You are someone that strives to have an end-to-end understanding of the underlying business and the need of calibration to reach the agreed balance between risk and revenue. We also believe that your background and skills include:

* Several years of work experience related to analytics decisioning. With experience in the entire analytics lifecycle, from requirements gathering, data extraction, manipulation, and analysis to sharing insights and advising on decision making as well as implementing changes.
* Proficiency in SQL with the ability to analyze large quantities of data with statistical analysis tools.
* Track record of leading projects and initiatives, setting goals, and achieving results.
* Working proficiency and communication skills in English, verbal and written
* Suitable education (BSc/MSc/Ph.D. in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Sciences or the equivalent).

It is also considered a merit if you have:
* B2C credit risk management experience. Including familiarity with e-identification tools and credit bureaus across different markets and automated decision engine solutions.
* Experience working with Snowflake, Power BI, and data visualization.
* Experience in helping to build scorecards to predict future behaviors such as the probability of an applicant defaulting.

We are looking for ambitious people with significant drive! We need problem solvers, initiative takers, people that see opportunities and potential to improve. You should be passionate about your job and enjoy a fast-paced international working environment. At Volvo we embrace change, you should dare to challenge the status quo and be persistent in doing so.
