As the Global Corporate Energy & Climate Manager, there is great opportunity and variety in activity day to day, including:

Support the company's net-zero commitment, leading the implementation of the emission reduction targets to ensure their alignment to the level of ambition set in the Paris Agreement and SBTi criteria
Acting as the point of contact for Science Based Target Initiative (SBTi) interaction
Support different functions, such as procurement, R&D and logistics in identifying opportunities for decarbonization of the company's value chains
Create strategic partnerships to meet energy conservation and emission reduction targets across the value chain
Chairing the quarterly internal net-zero business function forum
Report business GHG emissions and analyse trends on corporate emission reduction targets progress via reporting tool
Prepare training materials to disseminate best practices on GHG emissions reporting and science-based target implementation to different stakeholders
Setting and monitoring KPIs to align with widely accepted sustainability standards and directives, such as CSRD
Provide financial and non-financial climate information to the company's integrated annual report and provide environmental reports to the company BA functions

What you'll need
Experience in GHG emissions reporting and developing, reviewing, or assessing GHG inventories, preferably in line with the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard
Significant EHS experience gained within a highly regulated sector
Excellent and demonstrable technical and analytical skills as well as business acumen
Fantastic stakeholder management and communication skills
Prior knowledge and understanding of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and of climate change scenarios
Academic qualification in sustainability, climate change, environmental studies, engineering or related field
Experience with data visualization and comfort working with large data sets
Past interaction with Science Based Target Initiative submissions would be advantageous
