On behalf of one of our clients, a large company in Södertälje, we are currently looking for a Global Category Manager for a temporary assignment. The role is full-time and will start immediately.

Dina arbetsuppgifter
As Global Category Manager you will have three major types of accountability; strategic planning, strategic relationship management (customer and supplier) and overseeing the implementation of the category plan.
Your main responsibilities include:
• developing the category plan
• securing the appropriate sponsorship, resources and implementation support
• meeting deliverables as agreed upon during category plan development
• driving procurement strategies
• driving the preparation of competitive bids, quotations and proposals
• developing, reviewing, negotiating and executing complex business agreements and contracts
• analysing forecasted spending
• analysing relevant business areas, supply markets and categories
• leading and driving complex projects across relevant business areas
• delivering benefits of value enhancement projects through optimum sourcing methods or process improvements.
Furthermore, you will lead a procurement team, establishing and communicating strategic direction, providing a business context.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
We want you to have a degree or equivalent professional qualification and extensive work experience. You also have procurement experience and supplier management experience. Furthermore, you are proficient in MS Office and fluent in both Swedish and English.
We also want you to have:
• a professional procurement qualification
• industry or commodity experience
• proficiency in procurement and other business related systems, e.g. ERP or Ariba.
As a person you are an energetic and self-motivated team player with the ability to use a range of influencing techniques. You also have strong analytical and financial skills with proven ability to manage change and multiple projects.
