Handicare is an international Swedish-owned corporation with customers in countries around the world and with HQ located in Kista, Stockholm. The company has strong ownership and is a billion company with good profitability with manufacturing and sales organisations with over 1000 employees worldwide covering Western and Northern Europe and Asia. Additionally, our products are sold through distributors in more than 40 countries. So we are always nearby, very local, and this is reflected in our product offerings.
The company have 4 Business units, developing and selling medical aids. We strive to improve the quality of life of disabled and elderly people.
Handicare is owned by Nordic Capital Fund VII, a leading private equity fund in Scandinavia.
Are you the person who always is three steps ahead? Would you like to be a part of a new established Group IT with the mission to build trusting, collaborative relationships and alliances across functional and organizational boundaries? As well as taking a great part in the process of being fully outsourced to a single IT service provider?
This new Global Business IT architect reports to Demand Manager and will have the responsibility for the total IT landscape within both applications and infrastructure activities. You will act as a key partner to business in working partly with requirements, solution design and keeping a firm and ongoing relationship with several internal stakeholders. Group IT is strategically focused, it does not do the execution which it only monitors. Hence establishing a solid relationship with outsourcing partners is of great importance. The position will have a great impact and influence on the future of the Group IT.
The task
• Develop and guard "the concept" of Handicare in an IT outsource scenario
• Communication to both users as well as management teams
• High level: for architecture, design, policies, planning and project/application management
• Create roadmaps to drive the core applications portfolio
• Create roadmap for Handicare to utilize new cloud possibilities (like Office365)
• Balancing local business requirements vs driving global economies of scale
• Designing solutions with architectural standards
Your background
• Application architecture and road mapping for 3+ years
• Verbally and in written strong in English, Swedish is desirable, Dutch is a bonus
• Minimum relevant Bachelor level education
• Broad knowledge of technology solutions, current trends and techniques
Your personality
Self-driven, self-independent and enthusiastic
• Excellent team- and communication skills
• Flexible and prestige less
