With an idea to offer secure and simple payment solutions, Klarna was founded that same year. Five years have passed and we have grown to an ambitious and creative company of 350 employees. We have been awarded Company of the Year in -07 (bragging), increased our turnover by 13 570 % (statistics) and managed to become the Nordic market leader (facts). Klarna is partly owned by Investment AB Öresund and Sequoia Capital - a company that saw the same potential in Google, YouTube and Apple Computer, as they do in us. We think that is a good start.
Klarna's amazing journey continues and the number of individuals who use our services when they shop online is growing rapidly. More customers also increase the need for careful monitoring of our business; therefore we need to expand our Business Analyst department. The department is new and will be composed of five analysts in charge of different markets: Sweden, Finland, Norway / Denmark, Germany and the Netherlands.
You will be responsible for your specific market, to follow up the financial and operational development as well as implement management decisions. You will be responsible for business-critical processes from day one and hence it is important that you are able to critically and objectively analyze and review your own work.
Work tasks include:
• To together with the team break down Klarna's overall strategy and objectives to concrete and quantifiable KPIs that can be followed up and questioned
• To make sure that necessary changes are carried out, and new processes are implemented, on your market
• To work across the organization and analyze the company's processes on your market from a profitability perspective, both for products, services and customer segments
• To enhance the internal efficiency of the organization together with department managers
• To produce reports and present them to Klarna's management
The position as Business Analyst gives you a chance to great responsibility and impact on Klarna's business and performance at a very early stage in your career.
We are looking for someone with a masters degree in business, economics, industrial engineering and management or a similar field, with very good results. You have recently graduated or have had time to get 1-2 years work experience. You have worked parallel to your studies within a relevant field, run your own business or have been deeply involved in student or non-profit organizations.
You speak and write English and German fluently. You also have very good knowledge of Excel.
Your personality is characterized by a very strong personal drive and commitment. You are structured and methodical in your approach. Your communication skills are very high and you are used to having many parallel contacts within the organization.
