Want to use your talent? Looking for a great job creating games? Interested in online games? Massive Entertainment continues to grow and right now we are searching for a game programmer to join our new team, developing a new online-oriented game. In this position you will take an active part in the start-up of our new game project!
To suit this position you must have a passion for games! You have excellent C++ skills and understanding of vector math, common algorithms and data structures. As a person you are flexible and enjoy working in a changeable environment. You are eager to develop your talent and to take on more responsibility. It's important that you can work independent within your area of competence and at the same time function well in a team. Of course it's an advantage if you have prior experience from the games industry.
We can offer you a dynamic and fun environment, a friendly atmosphere and lots of competent and creative colleagues. Massive is currently in an expansion phase and will grow from 120 talented individuals up to 300 the next few years.
Required skills and experiences:
Excellent C++ skills
Good understanding of vector math in 3D
Good problem solving ability
Good knowledge of common algorithms and data structures
Ability to write clear and maintainable code
Ability and desire to work efficiently without micro-management
Additional assets:
A genuine passion/interest for the MMO genre
Experience with RPG and/or RTS games is a plus
Previous experience working in the games industry
Avid game player
