We are seeking a researcher to work on studies related to Anterior Cruciate Ligament injuries

The position
The position of Research is within the "Sports Knee Injury" research group, led by Professor Joanna Kvist, at the Division of Physiotherapy, Linköping University. You will collaborate with various members of the research group and work on ongoing and planned studies within the group. Your primary responsibilities will include data processing in collaboration with statisticians, collecting new data, and presenting results both in writing and orally.

The person we need

The applicant has to be interested in the consequences of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries. You are an enthusiastic, open, and positive individual who delivers results accurately within specified timeframes.

To be eligible for the position, you are holding a PhD in medical science, physiotherapy/rehabilitation, or a related field focusing on sports-related knee injuries. It is advantageous if you have experience working as a researcher in multidisciplinary teams and have treated patients with ACL injuries. You need to have knowledge on the rehabilitation process following ACL injury. Strong scientific writing skills in English are essential for this position. Additionally, understanding the written Swedish language is advantageous.

The workplace

You will be working at the Unit of Physiotherapy, Department of Prevention, Rehabilitation, and Community Care, within Professor Joanna Kvist 's research group focused on knee-related sports injuries (https://liu.se/medarbetare/joakv97 )

The employment

The position is a temporary full-time position of six months, with the possibility of extension. Entry August 2025.
