Your mission
At Picadeli we are a group of dedicated colleagues who really and truly believe in our vision: a world where fast-food is the opposite of junk food. In your role as "Food Product Developer" you will play a key part in further developing the Picadeli consumer experience across the world. With an innovative mindset, great skills, curiosity and courage, you will challenge and improve our existing assortment as well as launch new products demanded by trends and the markets. The stage (or actually, the kitchen) is yours!
In addition to developing fresh and tasty news to Picadeli's salad bars, the role also includes product development for our other great meal solutions; Food to Go, Deli and our restaurants. An important aspect to have in mind is how the process from small-scale recipe development and testing to industrial production affects the product, still having the culinary quality in focus. This includes recipe development, sample production, upscaling, quality assurance and launch.
You will be part of a highly skilled and devoted team all working towards the same goal: to change the perception of fast food. You will also work closely with our marketing, quality and purchasing departments, along with our production units. Domestic and international travels to visit external partners, suppliers and other Greenfood companies will also be a part of your role. Location; Gothenburg.
Profile
• To succeed in this role, we believe that you are a true foodie with experience and knowledge from culinary product development on an industrial scale, or as a creative chef.
• Bachelor's degree within food, gastronomy or equivalent
• Hands on and business driven! You are practical and thrive in the mix of developing strategies combined with operational work
• You are dedicated, engaged and take full ownership for your tasks and responsibilities
• Proven experience within food -safety and -quality
• Experience from working in Jeeves and Navision is preferred but not required
• Since we are an international company, you need to be fluent in English, both verbally and in writing
