Volvo Cars Torslanda is part of Volvo Cars global production organization, manufactures most of our products in a fast-moving operation. If you want to join us in a great transformation journey and take on a leading role, we have an exciting opening for you in the Plant Supply Chain Engineering (PSCE) team as a Flow Leader in the Assembly shop.
What you 'll do
As a flow leader, you will manage and lead a group of approximately 8-12 engineers, whose focus will be improving, optimizing, and creating best in class flows. The responsibility of the Flow team extends to continuous flow implementations, project involvement and general optimizations within material intake, replenishment, packaging, and IT.
In this role you will in cooperation with the responsible Superintendent, have an important role in developing the engineering team to secure an accelerating implementation and transformational pace. You will maintain and secure that strategies, initiate, plan, and prioritize all activities performed by the Plant Supply Chain Engineering group, such as optimizations of current flows, kaizen activities, best practice, IT-development and more.
Furthermore you will follow up and deliver in line with KPIs, working with competence development and continuous coaching of the team members.
Who are you?
We are looking for a communicative leader with great cooperation skills. You have experience within Supply Chain with a good level of understanding logistic flows, lean and overall supply chain processes. We assume that you have a university degree within Supply Chain or similar.
To be successful in this role, you are able to build trust within the team, while developing an effective and resourceful organization. We believe you have ability to take own initiatives, contribute with innovative ideas and solutions. As person, you are analytic and structured, as well as have experience and competence within the digital area.
On a more personal note, you are a team player with great coordination and communication skills and not afraid to take initiatives to reach the set goals. Most of all, you share our values and can see everyone's potential.
