At the Flight Operation Centre, you will be in the middle of Flight Test in Linköping. Are you the team player we are looking for?
Your role
As a daily planner in the flight operations centre (OPC), you will have the overall coordination responsibility for all daily ground- and flight test activities. Responsibilities include planning, ordering and follow-up of the daily activities, including required external resources necessary for the flight operations. This require more or less daily contact with FMV Test & Evaluation, Military Flight Control, meteorologists and more. A tight collaboration with airport services is also important.
This is performed with input from, and in close cooperation with, test pilots, test aircraft coordinators, test leaders and aircraft maintenance to make sure that the daily operation run according to plan.
Tasks will include:
• Daily planning of flight operations
• Preparations before flight
• Planning of simulator activities for pilots
• Test aircraft coordination

What you will be a part of
Department Flight Test and Verification performs testing in most of the technology areas for Saab's flying systems and handles simulator-, ground- and flight test.
The department has the responsibility to provide professional testing of aircraft systems and to manage flight operations and aircraft maintenance.
Activities are mainly connected to the development of JAS 39 Gripen, but include all flight operation.
The department has about 250 employees, which include pilots, a/c mechanics, test engineers, instrumentation engineers, s/w developers and more.
Your role is part of section "Operational Management" and handles daily support for flight operations.
