www.boliden.se.Boliden Business Area Smelters are recruiting a Financial Manager to Boliden Commercial with a focus on accounting.
Tasks
As Financial Manager at Boliden Commercial, you are responsible for our financial reporting, planning and monitoring. Duties will include, among other things, financial accounting, reporting, analysis, financial statements and tax returns. You are responsible for the four employees of the Finance department and you will lead and plan the work for the department. It is therefore very important that you have good leadership skills and strong desire to contribute to the development of the personnel. As Financial Manager you are responsible for the company's accounting and reporting, to ensure high quality and that all deadlines are met.
Boliden Commercial is the commercial link within the group. The position will therefore also include a lot of contacts within production and CFOs at the smelters. You will report to the Director of Finance & Administration at Boliden Smelters.
Suitable background
We are looking for a candidate with a Business Degree, majoring in accounting, with at least 10 years of experience from a position as finance- or accounting manager. You need to have well documented management experience from an international company in the industrial sector. Good knowledge of IFRS, Swedish accounting standards and tax rules are required, as well as fluency in written and spoken Swedish and English. It is also a plus if you have previous experience of accounting of financial instruments. As Boliden is using Microsoft Dynamics and Aaro, it is an advantage if you have previous experience with these systems. Furthermore, good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) is a must.
As a person you are a communicative and confident leader with high energy and drive with the desire to continuously develop and improve systems and processes. You are analytical, structured and thorough and enjoy a fast pace and tight deadlines. You are flexible and have a willingness to work both strategically and operationally. Furthermore, the role involves a lot of both internal and external contacts.
