Your mission
As Global Online Experience grows, we are looking for a passionate Financial Analyst that can bring value to our finance teams and ultimately to our customers. You will join the Financial Planning and Analytics team and work together with our business partners and stakeholders to create transparency of our financial performance and business metrics. Here you will be part of shaping the future of the company through insightful analysis of one of our most prioritized areas. Of course, we have fun whilst doing it! You will work with all active Global Online Experience markets and will be responsible for, providing holistic financial views to facilitate decision making on a wide range of topics, including churn and profitability per segment. You will work with an extensive cross-functional team that forms our modus operandi. You will be building financial models with limited information at hand. As the business model and product are evolving, an innovative yet structured approach is key. Your further responsibilities will be developing dashboards providing transparency on Global Online Experience performance and driving efficiency improvements of new analytics tools in the immediate team and beyond.
You will also have a hands-on approach solving problems and creating trust in the business through providing accurate data that we collect about our business. You will help drive and influence developments of a new offer and products through comprehensive financial analysis and steering. Lastly, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine and implement process improvements to create efficiency and scalability.
Who are you
You are curious by nature and passionate about improving a business that is new and evolving. You are results-driven and enjoy analyzing large amounts of data to prove success rates. Some of your core skills are being digital savvy, prioritizing what is most important for the business combined with a project management skillset.
We are looking for people who enjoy collaboration and take accountability, as the ability to work within teams is key for success. You have integrity and dare being bold, but in a thought-through way. To have a strategic mindset and the ability to drive business insights fueled by a strong business acumen is an absolute must. Finally, you are a person with high ambitions that find an entrepreneurial company mindset inspiring.
To succeed, we believe that your background and skills include:
• 5+ years of experience from a relevant position (business consulting, investment banking background, financial analyst, controller or similar)
• 2+ years of experience with direct-to-consumer business
• Experience and interest in building complex financial models in Excel, Power BI or other tools
• Advanced Excel skills are necessary whereas SQL, Python, Alteryx, database experience is a plus
• Demonstrated experienced and interest in building something new, not just maintaining existing processes
• Experience and ability to present complicated findings in a clear and concise manner
• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, or other relevant areas
• Fluent in English, additional languages are a bonus
